REHEARSAL DAY & TIME

  • Weekly rehearsals are always on Monday evenings from 7:15-9:30 pm (except for Labor Day), unless otherwise noted below or announced by Chorus Manager.
  • We might schedule supplemental Saturday rehearsals, or make changes to the rehearsal start times or location. Please watch your email!

REHEARSAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Rehearsals will begin promptly at the announced start time. Please arrive a few minutes early, if possible. If you arrive late, please enter the rehearsal space quietly and find a seat in the back of the room. Join your section at the next stopping point.
  • Please refrain from talking/whispering during rehearsals, especially if the person leading rehearsal is working with another section. This will allow everyone to see and hear what is going on, and allow other singers to follow along if they so choose.
  • All cell phones must be silenced during rehearsal. If you must take a call, please leave the rehearsal area to do so.
  • Enclosed water bottles are permitted in the rehearsal space. No food, drink or candy/gum is permitted. Lemon drops are OK.
  • Many of our singers are sensitive to fragrances. Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, after-shave or strong smelling fabric softener to rehearsals.

FALL CONCERT

  • Concert Date: Sun. October 26, 2025
  • 2025: 8/25, 9/2 (Tues, same time), 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/4 (Sat, 10am-12pm), 10/6, 10/13, 10/20
    • NOTE: We may schedule additional Saturday rehearsals, if needed.
  • Dress Rehearsal / Sound Check with Orchestra at Concert Venue:
    • Sat. 10/25 – Call Time: TBA

SPECIAL PERFORMANCE WITH REDEEMER PARISH CHOIR

  • Concert Date: Sunday, February 22, 2026
  • IMPORTANT – YOU MUST ATTEND NOVEMBER & DECEMBER REHEARSALS TO SING AT THIS CONCERT.

    • 2025: 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8 (No rehearsal: 12/15, 12/22, 12/29)

    • 2026: 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16

Membership Dues

Membership dues help to offset the cost of producing our concerts, which are presented free of charge to the community. Dues for the 2025-2026 season will be announced prior to our first rehearsal.

    CONCERT ATTIRE

    Concert Attire

    NOTE:  Bear in mind that we perform in houses of worship.  Our concert attire standards have been established in an effort to maintain respect for our host venues, and uniformity within the chorus.  For dress rehearsals, no special attire is required.

    For Everyone:

    • NO perfume, cologne, after-shave or strong smelling fabric softener. (This also applies to rehearsals.)
    • Music (including music scores on an electronic device) must be in a plain black folder or binder.
      • Please do *not* hole-punch sheet music!
    • Black socks or hosiery
    • Black belt, if needed
    • Comfortable, low-heeled black shoes
    • No bare shoulders or deep neck lines.
    • Masks (if required, preferred) must be solid black with no decorations or words of any kind
    • Jewelry should be understated. The idea is to blend in with everyone else vs standing out.
      • Ex. A string of pearls, a chain with a cross, etc.
      • NOTE: Events presented by other organizations may have different jewelry requirements.

    Option 1:

    • Black dress pants
    • Black shirt
    • Black neck tie (if button-down dress/Oxford style shirt)
    • Black jacket (if short sleeved-shirt)

    Option 2:

    • Black dress (Knee length or longer; Min. ¾ sleeve.)
