Our 55th Season – A Season of Hope!

Musica Sacra has been hard at work during our “off season” summer planning months exploring new and creative ways to reach our beloved audiences during this time of continued restrictions on public gatherings.

THANK YOU to everyone who watched our 2020 Fall Concert, presented as a special online-only streamed event between Nov 25 and Dec 4, 2020.

The Faure Requiem, and his Cantique de Jean Racine were recorded live at St. Boniface Church in Northside, with members of the chorus and orchestra masked and spread out in the sanctuary to maintain social distancing.

We were pleased to welcome student soloists from the College-Conservatory of Music who performed with us. We were also pleased to introduce this season’s Apprentice Conductor, Joe Taff, DMA candidate from CCM and this year’s May Festival Chorus Conducting Fellow.

Please subscribe to our email list, or follow us on facebook for the latest information about this concert, and for our upcoming 2020-2021 season.  Thank you, and stay well!

Since our choir’s founding in 1965, Musica Sacra has become a notable presence in Cincinnati’s artistic community. We are honored to be a part of our city’s musical heritage by preserving the performance of sacred choral masterworks by the world’s greatest composers in the sacred spaces for which they were originally composed.
